# Lunoom Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Lunoom, the Mac app, and lunoom.com handle, and why. Lunoom is operated by Curiosive LLC. Effective October 19, 2026.

## Your files stay on your Mac

Scans run entirely on your Mac. File names, paths, sizes, and the disk map are never sent to us. Lunoom keeps the last completed scan in a local cache so it can show it on the next launch.

The desktop widget receives only summary numbers and a short scope name, never file paths or the full map.

## Purchases and licenses

Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not receive or store card details. When you buy Lunoom, we store your purchase email, order amount and status, and Stripe’s checkout and payment identifiers. We use them to issue your license, email your license code, recover it on request, and handle refunds.

When you activate Lunoom, the app sends your license code and a random device identifier created on your Mac. We store that identifier so each license works on one Mac. While online, the app checks your license status at most once a day.

License emails are delivered by Resend. Recovery requests are rate limited using a one-way hash of the email address.

## Crash reports

Lunoom never sends crash reports automatically. If the app crashed, it may offer to send the report. You can read and edit it first, and it is sent only if you choose Send. A sent report includes the text you approved, the app and macOS versions, and the scan scope, linked to your license.

## Updates

Lunoom checks downloads.lunoom.com for updates. These requests include standard network information, such as your IP address and the app version. Lunoom does not send a system profile with update checks.

## This website

lunoom.com does not use analytics or advertising cookies. It is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard request information such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site. The page loads the current launch price from our licensing service. Checkout takes place on Stripe’s pages, under Stripe’s privacy policy.

## Sharing and retention

We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising. We share it only with the service providers named above, as needed to run checkout, licensing, email, and hosting, or when the law requires it. We keep purchase records for as long as they are needed to provide your license and meet legal and accounting obligations.

## Your choices and contact

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data by emailing [support@lunoom.com](mailto:support@lunoom.com) from your purchase address. Deleting purchase data may prevent us from recovering or moving your license.
